Dr. Milica Čukanović

Since my high school days at dental technician school, I was drawn by the opportunity to express creativity through hands-on work. That spark led me to the University of Belgrade Faculty of Dentistry. Soon after graduating, I discovered my true love—orthodontics. For more than ten years, with unwavering enthusiasm, I have been dedicated to this branch of dentistry.

What particularly inspires me is the opportunity to correct bad habits in young patients, improve their breathing and chewing, and thus positively influence their overall growth and development into healthy, successful individuals. I am equally dedicated to adult patients, helping them enhance not only the appearance of their smile but also the function of the entire masticatory system, which directly impacts their quality of life. My approach is empathetic; I carefully listen to each patient’s concerns and view them as a whole, knowing that the mouth and teeth are integral to overall health.

To ensure my patients feel comfortable during the often lengthy orthodontic treatment, I explain the entire process in detail from the very beginning – what the therapy will look like, what sensations they can expect, and what the aesthetic results will be. Open communication and a willingness to collaborate are key to finding the right solution for the patient.

Dr. Srđan and I have been together in dentistry since our very first days of study. We grew and developed professionally together, sharing a similar vision and passion for dentistry. I am pleased to be part of the Dental Hero team. This team encourages me to continuously improve myself and my work.
