A higher standard of care, greater safety, and comfort for you.

Experience a cleaner, safer, and more comfortable dental treatment thanks to the use of a rubber dam.

What you get:

  • Isolation of the working field The tooth (or teeth) we are working on is completely separated from the rest of the mouth.
  • Maximum safety Prevents swallowing or inhalation of materials and instruments. This is particularly important when removing amalgam fillings.
  • Protection of soft tissues Prevents contact of potentially irritating materials with the gums, tongue, and cheeks.
  • Better visibility for the dentist A dry and clean field allows for more precise and higher-quality work.
  • Greater comfort for you No feeling of a dry mouth or unpleasant cotton rolls.
  • Reduced risk of infections Significantly reduces the spread of aerosols and contamination of the air in the office with particles from the patient's mouth.
  • More efficient treatment Allows the dentist to work faster.

This place revolutionizes everything you thought you knew about dentists — it relies heavily on modern technologies and a very detailed, client-tailored approach. They strive to make everyone feel comfortable, to the extent that you can watch TV shows with noise-canceling headphones during procedures. Srđan explains everything in detail, patiently and professionally. Highly recommended :)

Rubber Dam – The Gold Standard of Modern Dentistry.

A rubber dam is a simple yet extremely important protective barrier made of a thin rubber sheet that isolates the tooth or teeth we are working on from the rest of your mouth. Imagine a treatment where no particles of materials, old fillings, or liquids go down your throat. That is the main advantage of a rubber dam – it provides maximum safety, protects you from irritating materials, reduces the risk of infection transmission, and allows your dentist to work more precisely and efficiently. At Dental Hero, the use of a rubber dam is part of our commitment to providing the highest quality and safest care possible. Although it may look unusual, placement is not painful and does not interfere with breathing. Experience the difference a higher standard of care makes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does placing a rubber dam hurt?

Placing a rubber dam does not hurt, as we will administer anesthesia for the planned procedure.

Will a rubber dam interfere with my breathing?

You will not have any breathing difficulties. A rubber dam does not block your nose. It also does not seal your mouth completely, so you can still breathe through your mouth.

How is a rubber dam attached to my mouth?

The rubber dam sheet is attached to a frame, and only the few teeth we are working on pass through the rubber via small holes in it. We use small clamps to ensure the rubber sheet stays still during the treatment.

What if I am claustrophobic?

Claustrophobic patients deserve the same quality dental care as everyone else. A different approach may be required, and sometimes we can involve an anesthesiologist and perform procedures under sedation.

What if I am allergic to latex?

We do not use latex rubber dam. The gloves used by our doctors and assistants are also latex-free.
